If your child is arriving at School late, please ensure they sign in at the relevant Campus Office. Thank you for your assistance in helping us care for your children. Consent2GoDon’t forget to update your contact details and your child’s medical details using Consent2Go. Information provided by parents ensures timely and accurate care for your child in the case of an emergency. This program is also used to collect consent for excursions, camps and a variety of other school activities. Further information can be found on the Parents Page of the website. NAPLAN 2026Each year, students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 participate in the National Assessment Programme – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). The results are used to measure individual students and student cohorts, educational outcomes in literacy (reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy. The assessments will be conducted across two weeks this year from 11 to 23 March with opportunity for catch up of missed tests. The assessments will occur within class time and will be supervised by Calvin Christian School staff. The Parent and Carers Information sheet contains details of NAPLAN online. A simple English version is also available. Students in Years 7 and 9 will need to supply their own headphones for all tests. Student Withdrawals Parents may choose to withdraw their students from NAPLAN or, in certain circumstances, they may receive an exemption. If you wish to withdraw your child, please contact the School to advise us and complete the required document prior to 10 March. For our Secondary Students…SEQTA Learning Management SystemParents and Carers of new students to Calvin in Years 7-12 should connect to SEQTA Engage in order to access their child's course outlines, class content, assessments, feedback/marks, timetables and reports. New Parents and Carers will need to create an account using the link that was emailed last week. You can also download the SEQTA Engage App via your preferred App Store. Co-curricularThe Secondary Co-curricular Program will commence in Week 2 this term. Dates for Term 1 are 12 February, 26 February, 12 March, 26 March and 9 April. Students will be informed of the Co-curricular options today in an email and invited to select their preferences next week. Please note that some options will involve a small cost and/or later return to school.
