There will be twelve different food trucks, the amazing Navy Band as well as Croquettes and of course Oliebollen!

The children will be well entertained with rides, Tombola, Showbags, Facepainting and lots more. Parents will still enjoy the Auction, Craft Stall, Plants and Produce. All stalls will have cashless payment options.

Oliebollen — We need your help!

After the amazing effort by our Community Engagement Committee last year running the Oliebollen Festival through the rain, we’re confident that this year will be another great community day. As we plan for the event we are looking for your partnership and support to make this happen.

We’d love you to volunteer on a stall even if it’s for a couple of hours. This is a great way to meet other parents and to get to know the Calvin Christian School community. Our roles have clear times and guidelines so you’re not stuck wondering what to do.

Part of the joy and success of Oliebollen is the sense of connection created as we work together as a school community. Being able to invite members of the wider Kingborough community into our School and to share with them the faith at the heart of Calvin Christian School is a great opportunity.

The event is the Community Engagement Committee’s biggest fundraiser for the year. With funds raised from last year’s and previous Oliebollen events, the Committee has funded our fireworks display at Walking in the Light and purchased fantastic new play equipment for our Primary and Secondary students.

We look forward to seeing you join with our community on 9 September and value your time and support in building the Calvin Christian School community. Volunteer bookings are now open!

The Auction is always one of the biggest draw-cards at the Festival and is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure or showcase you or your business to the School and Kingborough Community.

The CRAFT STALL needs your help!

We are interested in anything that is handmade, knitting, crochet, woodwork, jewellery, pottery, papercraft, sculpting, painting or any other type of handmade goods.

If you have any questions contact the Oliebollen Coordinator. Please bring items to school by Friday 9 September, clearly marked for the Craft Stall.

ATTENTION Parents of Prep to Year 6 students

The Tombola Stall needs lots of goodies to go into jars.

Ideas include: stickers, swap cards, rubber finger puppets, hair ties, whistles, packaged lollies, erasers, candy, stampers, hair clips, mini pencils, pencils, mini toys, matchbox cars, balloons, lip gloss, bracelets, ribbons, mini note pads, beads etc. Anything kids enjoy!

Please help by bringing in items to the Primary school office
for this very popular children’s stall!

Farmer’s market is in NEED OF DONATIONS

home made, home grown fresh produce. They require jams, marmalade, chutney, pickles, eggs, vegies, flowers, seeds and plants. They will collect it all on the Friday
(day before) Oliebollen.
