Students from Years 9 - 12 are invited to our first ever Life Library happening today, Thursday 15 May, in the Calvin Secondary Library as part of National Careers Week. This is an amazing opportunity for your young person to meet with a community member in a field of their choice. We have volunteers with a wide range of career backgrounds and expertise who will be meeting students in small groups for a conversation about their career journey. Your young person can sign up to meet a builder or carpenter, architect, engineer, art therapist, doctor and many more.
There is a 2.00pm session for our Senior Students, and a 6.00pm session this evening which is open to all students from Years 9 - 12. After dropping your young person at school by 6.00pm this evening, we encourage you to wait across the road in the Lantern Centre where the Salt + Light Café will be open for this special event.
