Calvin Christian School (Calvin Primary School and Calvin Secondary School) is a coeducational independant Christian school just 12 km's south of the Hobart CBD, Calvin is located at the head of the Channel and Huon.

Excellence is the hallmark of Calvin's educational programme.

Each student is provided with the opportunity to pursue accredited pathways of study that lead to University, Colleges of Technical and Further Education and/or employment after graduation.

Through careful on-going individual assessment, students are helped to set, strive for and achieve personal goals of excellence in all they do.

Preparation

Calvin is committed to equipping students for a life in a changing and challenging world.

Students are provided with a wide variety of learning experiences through which they will develop their whole person - the academic, emotional, physical, social and spiritual.

Responsiveness to God in faith and service is seen as important in preparing students to take their place in the community. As they mature, students are encouraged to take greater responsibility for their own discipline, organisation and motivation.

Education is a partnership between the home and the school.

Calvin seeks to provide parents with the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of their child's education.
