Beautification Fund

Together, let’s make our school beautiful

Our surroundings shape our thoughts, emotions and actions. We have plans to further refurbish and beautify our learning, student support, communal and administrative spaces for the benefit of all. This ensures our facilities continue to bring life to our flourishing community. You can read about some of these plans below.

By supporting our Beautification Fund, you’ll be accelerating our plans to provide more on-site green space, artistic, learning and aspirational experiences for all in our community to benefit from. If you have a preferred project that you’d like to support, please select it when giving online. For other giving options please fill out our enquiry form.

A detailed architectural landscape plan for a courtyard featuring various areas including science, outdoor study nooks, a raised deck, artificial grass platform, and climbing equipment, with trees and garden beds integrated into the design.

This project will build a continuity of space in the courtyard area outside the current Technology, Art and Science and Rooms 7, 8 and 9. The proposed development includes:

  • Raised platforms to allow for outdoor study.

  • Study nooks and integrated outdoor seating.

  • Bloqx climbing equipment for teenagers.

  • Repaving of the entire area.

This project will join the key learning spaces in the top section of the school. Additionally the development will incorporate:

  • Two new deck areas with existing trees retained.

  • Extensive repaving to level out area.

  • Accessibility friendly tiered ramps and outdoor seating.

  • A new flexible “plaza area” with feathered steps.

A detailed landscape plan shows areas with native shrubs and feature trees, parking spaces, and various garden beds with low native understory planting. The design includes boundary screening, native hedge planting, installation of new fencing, and removal or retention of existing trees, along with drainage swale features with rock splashes. The plan also indicates areas for native grasses and mulched garden beds aimed at improving the site and maintaining sightlines.

We have a plans to build a new Calvin Primary carpark. The purpose of this is to improve safety for parents, carers and students during the busy drop-off and pick-up periods. The changes are a chance to beautify the space and improve ease of access to the school.

The changes will retain as many existing trees as possible while budgeting for new native trees as well as a large car parking space. To view the proposed plans in more detail please click on the image below.
