Deputy Principal – Head of Secondary Opportunity
Christian Schools Tasmania (CST) invites applications from suitably qualified practising Christians for the position of Deputy Principal - Head of Secondary at Calvin Christian School. This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position with an expectation to teach in his/her discipline with a teaching load of approximately 0.2 FTE. Commencing on 1 January 2025.
Working closely with the Principal, the Head of Secondary is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Secondary Campus, supporting the Principal in establishing a sense of active Christian faith and mission amongst staff and students. The Head of Secondary will seek to foster a learning environment and build a culture which reflects the School’s vision for a transformational Christian learning community.
The Head of Secondary is a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team and will provide curriculum and pastoral care leadership, working closely with the Head of Teaching and Learning and the Head of Students. Operationally, the Head of Secondary takes primary responsibility for ensuring that events are organised, programs are documented, that delegation occurs as necessary, and that arrangements are clearly communicated.
